About Us

Ingrid Munroe, a woman with a nagging idea and a passion for supporting local artisans, founded the business in 2018. It all started when she encountered challenges in finding a unique and locally made baby shower gift for her sister. Determined to fill this gap in the market, Ingrid set out to create a business that would offer high-quality, locally sourced gifts for various occasions.

Ingrid initially packed and shipped thousands of gifts from her basement, tirelessly building her business. As the demand for her products grew rapidly, it became obvious that the business had to be relocated from her home. In 2021, she purchased an empty warehouse, marking a significant milestone for the business.

Ingrid's sister, Maria Sweet, joined her in 2021, bringing her expertise in business operations and customer service. Together, the dynamic duo embarked on a new chapter, and the business transitioned from being solely e-commerce to opening a storefront attached to the warehouse in November of the same year. The sisters also seized an opportunity to join the local seasonal 'Container Village' as a semi-permanent retail location on the waterfront in Saint John in May of 2022, further expanding their presence in the community.
