This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, make a purchase, contact us, subscribe to marketing, or otherwise interact with our business.
Information We Collect & How We Use It
We collect personal information that you provide when you place an order, contact us, subscribe to our communications, or otherwise interact with our business. This may include contact and delivery information, order and transaction details, and information or files you provide for custom products.
We also receive certain technical information when you use our website, such as device, browser and website usage information.
We use this information to operate our business and provide our services, including processing and delivering orders, creating custom products, communicating with customers, providing customer service, preventing fraud, improving our website and services, and sending marketing communications where permitted.
We collect and use only the personal information reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Customer Photos & Custom Product Files
Customers may provide us with photographs, images, artwork or other files to create custom or personalized products.
These files are used solely to produce and support the merchandise ordered and are not used for advertising, marketing, social media or other unrelated purposes without permission.
Custom files are retained temporarily to allow us to complete the order and address any issues or necessary reprints, and are then routinely deleted from our working files.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the right or permission to provide any content submitted to us for reproduction.
Shopify & Service Providers
Our online store is powered by Shopify. Shopify and other trusted service providers may process personal information on our behalf in order to provide services such as website hosting, payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, email and marketing services, analytics, fraud prevention and other business functions.
We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for these providers to perform their services.
Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada. When this occurs, information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed.
Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate essential website functions, remember preferences and shopping carts, understand how visitors use our website, measure marketing performance and, where applicable, provide relevant advertising.
Some of these technologies may be provided by Shopify or third-party analytics, advertising and marketing services.
You can manage certain cookie and privacy preferences through available website controls or your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect website functionality.
Email & SMS Marketing
We do not currently use SMS marketing. If you choose to subscribe to our email marketing, we may use the contact information you provide to send promotions, product updates, abandoned-cart reminders and other marketing communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the message or by contacting us.
When We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our business, including Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, technology providers, marketing and analytics services, and professional advisers.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect against fraud or misuse, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a sale, restructuring or transfer of the business.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal, accounting and business requirements.
Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we hold.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent for certain uses of your information, including marketing communications, subject to legal or contractual requirements.
We may need to retain certain information even after a request for deletion or withdrawal of consent where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or other legitimate purposes.
